Concepts of Old World Plasters

 

Older houses are several times quieter than modern dwellings with dry walls within. Fire resistant plaster costs more than drywall. While old world plasters walls are level and smooth, they have small surface markings, which add to the character of a home a desirable old world sensation. Older homes with plastered walls are comfortable to inhabit and create a spatial sensation with plenty of natural light and fresh air. There's sun, vegetation and sunshine everywhere around high ceilings with lots of room, greater natural air movement.

The moisture resistance of plaster walls is significantly stronger than the drywall. Of course, Dry walls excessively painted.
